I was ordained Deacon in 2024, with the assumption that this would lead to being priested the following year. After my ordination I felt strongly that this was where I was meant to remain, and since then I have been enthusiastically exploring and researching anything to do with the Distinctive Diaconate! I am serving my curacy in Bristol, alongside working as a Doula (also meaning ‘servant’: emotional and practical support for parents in pregnancy, birth and postnatally). I am also passionate about creating and facilitating spaces for people to connect with God: through contemplative prayer, retreats and other community spaces.
