Bio: Lighthouse West Yorkshire is a fresh expression of church and registered Leeds-based charity which reaches out to those battered & bruised by the storms of life. Over 150 individuals call Lighthouse their church, many of whom have multiple and complex needs including homelessness, addiction, trauma, poverty and mental health struggles.
Lighthouse West Yorkshire is a fresh expression of church and registered Leeds-based charity which reaches out to those battered & bruised by the storms of life. Over 150 individuals call Lighthouse their church, many of whom have multiple and complex needs including homelessness, addiction, trauma, poverty and mental health struggles. In addition to our specialised pastoral care, signposting and crisis intervention we gather together in different ways throughout the week for worship, bible studies, family meals, prayer and therapeutic healing workshops. Lighthouse also offers valuable training through our immersive tailormade placement schemes and also through our online ‘Misson, Theology & Ministry for the Margins course’ which seeks to theologically and practically equip the church to love, serve & disciple those who have backgrounds of addiction, poverty and trauma.
