Excitingly, we now have details of our next Distinctive Deacons’ conference!  It will be online (no battling with Storm Babet, as happened last year!) and it’s called Last Orders? Restoring the priority of the Diaconate.

It’s our chance to meet our new Patron, Bishop Pete Wilcox, followed by a presentation on what it means to be a DD at oversight or senior level in the CofE. 

There will be a discussion about curacy, with a particular focus on the crucial relationship between the Deacon Curate and Training Incumbent. There will also be stories from DDs around the country.
